Lovely plumage, amazing framing in the branches too. A pity it's a bit unsharp though :|

Yeah, I was actually on the Monteverde tour and the guide had a spotting scope. I'm amazed it managed to turn out that well considering I was just holding the camera up to the eyepiece. Tose birds are almost impossible to see up close.

oooh, a quetzal *0* i adooore those birds, they're so beautiful! and it must've been hard to get one on a photo, i mean, it's not like you see one every day O___o

Yeah, it was through a spotting scope that a tour guide had set up :)

It is amazing that you got such a good shot of a quetzal. Too bad you can't make out the tail, but awesome shot nonetheless. :trophy:
